The Home Inspection Process

The Home Inspection Process

To avoid delays and ensure that you get a complete inspection;
NOTE: The Home Inspector will set up the appointment to assure it is set up properly and to the agreed upon day and time.
When setting up the inspection appointment, the home inspector will
request the listing agent and sellers to have the home
 “inspection ready
  • the water is turned on to the sinks, toilets, tubs, etc.
  • the gas furnace and water heater turned on and lit.
  • the electrical activated throughout the house
  • the “winterized” tags removed from plumbing fixtures

Many homes have the utilities turned off during winter months so we request the home be made “inspection ready” to assure that you get a full evaluation of the electrical, plumbing system, heating/cooling system, and water heater.
